Albania becomes Francophone member

BUCHAREST, Sept. 30 – A delegation headed from the Albanian Prime Minister Sali Berisha took part at a Bucharest meeting of the World Organization of Francophone where the country received full membership. Albania became the 54th member of the organization. It was at a monitoring level since 1999. The government had set that membership as one of its priorities during the mandate. The organization is a political grouping of these countries sharing the french language trying to share their spirit of cooperation and peace.
