TIRANA, Dec. 29 – the Citizens Advocacy Office, a non-governmental organization, held a protest just in front of a big food market calling on citizens to protest higher prices artificially set for the New Year days and the poor quality of the food products. The NGO said they had hundreds of complaints from consumers and appealed to the government structures to pay attention to the violation of the laws and rules on the prices and quality of the products. They said products have been sold in improper conditions and could be a cause of infectious diseases.
