OBITUARY – Ex-soccer player Arben Minga dies

TIRANA, Jan. 31 – Arben Minga, former soccer player of the Tirana club and the national team, passed away Wednesday in Canada after suffering from cancer of the pancreas. He was 47. Minga, who had gone to Canada in recent years, was Tirana’s forward until 1996 with which he won six national championships. Minga was also a forward with the national team in 28 matches. He is survived by his wife and two children.
