Israel welcomes more tourists from Albania

TIRANA, Dec. 1 – A group of Albanian politicians, public figures and press representatives visited Israel last week to discover attractive tourism spots in that country. That was part of the local Tourism Ministry there to attract foreign tourists. Few tourists from Albania arrived to Israel in the last years, around 200 people per year. This time, Albania will be part of the NIS 200 Million (equivalent of USD 52 Million) budget for 2008 which aims to market various tours to Israel, underlined Tourism Minister Yitzhak Aharonovitch.
