TIRANA, August 8 – An ALL 2.5 million investment has been used to renovate the Koman hydropower station in northern Albania.
Most of the funds went to repairing damages in the plant’s gates, from which the dam was reportedly losing one cubic meter of water per second.
The Koman power station is, by size, the second largest in Albania, after Fierza, but the first by the quantity of power delivered.
This is the first time the Koman power station has undergone repair, and further large scale renovations are expected.
