Eagle Mobile awarded for environmental projects

TIRANA, Dec. 6 – Eagle Mobile Company is rated as one of the most successful actors of the year 2010 in the field of social responsibility for the year 2010. Last weekend, the Municipality of Tirana, in the presence of the public and media as well, organized the award ceremony for the 10 personalities for the year 2010.
Crucial in this choice of the individuals are the citizens by themselves, as seems they are satisfied with the contribution of the individuals or various companies such as Eagle Mobile. Tirana Mayor Edi Rama described these individuals as silent heroes, whom with their work, their passion have changed Tirana, and have worked for the benefit of its citizens.
The recipient of the award on behalf of the Eagle Mobile Company, vice General Director Zekai Ozgun, said that Eagle Mobile has given so much importance to the contribution for the citizens from the very first days of its entry into market. He emphasized that all kinds of projects for the benefit of the community have been an integral part of the strategy of Eagle Mobile Company.
“Our company declared 2010 as the “Year of Environment” and during this year was projected and implemented a series of projects, some of them have been collaborating with several public and private institutions,” added Ozgun.
This is the fourth year that Tirana municipality organizes such a competition, where 10 individuals, besides the fact that they were known or unknown to the public, with their work offered to the community of the capital something really special and important as well.
During 2010, Eagle Mobile was focused on environmental care and in the awareness of the citizens to this vital element, declaring the year 2010 “The year of the Environment” for the company, planting hundreds of trees in Tirana and other cities.
