Drugs and ammunition seized near the Albanian border

IOANNINA, Greece, July 20 – The media reported that Greek police have seized about 200 kilograms of hashish and some ammunition at a place called Amarant, near Konitsa of the Ioannina prefecture and close to the Albanian border.
No persons were arrested, though the investigation continues.
It is believed that the drugs may have originated in Albania.
