While FASH Coordinator, Mr. Bledar Gjimi, thanking the supporting companies of this project, appealed to other companies to join this path, the path of education.
“We had the pleasure to work with two major companies in Albania, ALBtelecom / Eagle Mobile and the American Hospital. They are an example of social responsibility. We do not think that FASH will meet the needs of education in Albania, but we think that it will contribute in a serious way to bring a new standard”, concluded Gjimi.
The CEO of American Hospital, Mr. Klodian Allajbeu, emphasized that this initiative shows the vision of the future; it is an appeal to the business to realize that its future is closely related to the country’s future, and the future of the country is as much related to the future of our youth as it is to its education.
Meanwhile, Mr. Fatmir Vejsiu, Director of Pre-University Education in the Ministry of Education said that besides such donations, education has many other needs because intellectual investment is just as important as the material one. “The companies ALBtelecom and Eagle Mobile are not only donors in the field of education, but also our collaborators in this field. Another project that will come from this collaboration is the donation to the introduction of digital libraries or virtual laboratories which are a need in our schools”, said Mr. Vejsiu.
The Scholarships Project is conducted for the first time in Albania and consists in providing scholarships to high school graduates countrywide and in Albanian territories.
