TIRANA, June 2 – The second Albanian contingent of 30 military trainers as part of the international Resolute Support Mission left for Afghanistan, following an official ceremony.

Since 2002, Albania has been sending peacekeeping troops to Afghanistan. It has lost one soldier, Capt. Feti Vogli, during the mission.

Now Albanian troops help their Afghan ones in capacity building on security issues.

The troops will stay for six-month and operate under the NATO Turkish command in Kabul.
