TIRANA, June 24 – Local media reported that Erion Bimo, head of the anti-narcotics division in the southeastern city of Korça has died in an apparent suicide.
It is not clear why and how the death happened, but authorities are investigating.
Bimo, 30, is believed to have shot himself Tuesday with his official service pistol.
He died before any medical help could be provided, according to local media reports.
