TIRANA, Dec. 15 – Albania’s main opposition Democratic Party has urged the government to sack Durres Mayor Vangjush Dako, a Socialist, after investigative journalists showed he had sent a letter to the court in support of the early release of a notorious gang leader and convicted murderer.
