Is there a new opportunity to go forward with the process of EU integration for Albania? After being caught up in a vicious political gridlock that left little to no hope of asking such questions, now, after the much sought after political deal is done, we can finally re-examine the chances that the country has to put another step forward in its European path. The deal reached between the majority and the opposition, at least in paper, sounds very promising as far as EU integration is concerned.
