TIRANE, Dec. 3 – BoA released figures that show the agricultural sector meeting its predicted growth of 3 percent for this year. Within the year the agricultural production increased by 34 percent form the first quarter to the next. Boa also showed that the investments in this sector have been increasing especially compared to last year. The most notable improvements and increases have been related to the industries that process meat and fish, refined oil and soda-like drinks. An interesting increase was noted in the surface of working greenhouses that has resulted in a larger supply of related products such as vegetables. Agricultural production is subject to significant seasonal changes. This feature is reflected in the price drops for summer and their consequent pick-up during the colder months.
