Albania-bound cocaine found at Italian port

TIRANA, Oct. 26 – An Italian law enforcement agency, Guardia di Finanza, said this week it seized a shipment of 19 kilograms of pure cocaine bound for Albania.

The drugs were hidden in a container carrying frozen chicken coming from Brazil.

They were bound for the Albanian port city of Durres.

Police said the cocaine had a street value of up to 4 million euros.
