TIRANA, April 8 – The government decided Wednesday to donate ammunition to Iraq, giving no details of the amount or its cost.
The ammunition will serve as a contribution from the Albanian government to increase the capacities of the Iraqi armed forces along the international cooperation on increasing security in the Arab country.
From 2003 until December last year Albania was also part of the US-led international coalition with military troops in Iraq.
Tirana has made the same thing with Afghanistan, though it later turned into a court case for an American company that could not use Chinese-made ammunition to the afghan army according to its country’s rule.
