Albania, Kosovo to cooperate in translating EU documents

TIRANA, March 26 – Albania and Kosovo have agreed to work together in the translation of all documentation related to the European Union, which is part of the process of integration into the bloc for both countries, which share Albanian as their primary official language.
Albania has offered more than 3,000 already translated pages to the Kosovo authorities as part of the agreement.
Albania is waiting for EU candidate for membership status while Kosovo has just signed the Stabilization and Association Agreement with Brussels.
The neighboring countries also agreed to establish a technical commission that will work on the translation of EU documents needed for the approximation of their respective legislations.
