Albania late with reforms, warns OSCE

TIRANA, Jan. 3 – The Tirana mission of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe sharply criticized Albania’s political parties and government due to their failure to implement the reforms.
OSCE Chairman in Tirana, Robert Bosch, appealed to the parties to become more committed to adopting the new reforms.
According to the OSCE, if the reforms are not implemented the country will move away from acceptance into the EU and NATO.
Albanian political parties are in the midst of heated discussions about the new election law.
