Albania, Macedonia strengthen police cooperation

TIRANA, Nov. 18 – Albania’s top policeman, Ahmet Prenci, visited neighboring Macedonia after being invited by his counterpart, Ljupco Todorovski, to discuss important law enforcement problems of concern for both countries.

Both top police officials agreed to strengthen the control of the border crossing points, improve security at national borders, aggressively arrest wanted persons and continue the fight against organized crime.

They also agreed on a joint meeting with other regional colleagues from Kosovo, Montenegro and Serbia.
