Albanian imprisoned in Italy to be returned home

TIRANA, Dec 3 – One of the pledges that Albanian Prime Minister Sali Berisha made to his visiting Italian counterpart, Silvio Berlusconi, was that all Albanian prisoners in Italy could start to return to serve their sentences in their homeland beginning “next week.”
Like any country, Italy is also concerned about crowded prisons.
It is not known how many Albanian prisoners are in Italian prisons.
