Albanian Montenegrin official awarded medal in Shkodra

SHKODRA, Sept. 1 – The city hall council in Shkodra awarded Gezim Hajdinaga, Montenegrin Minister of Minorities, with the City’s Gratitude medal for his work in strengthening the relations between the two neighboring populations at a ceremony held Friday. Hajdinaga has played an important role in persuading both governments to open the new border crossing point of Murriqan that has directly affected a freer movement of people and the development of tourism. There is a high number of Albanian tourists who go to the Montenegrin beaches and vice versa.
