TIRANA, Dec 8 – Albania formally celebrated the holiday Kurban Bayram (also known as Eid al-Adha) on Monday with thousands of people praying at Tirana’s main Skanderbeg Square.
Last weekend, people in the central city of Elbasan also commemorated the protest of the Muslim believers in December 1990, just a day before the declaration of the political pluralism following students’ protests.
