Albanian plane in emergency landing, no defect found

TIRANA, Aug. 17 – An Albanian passenger flight bound for Turkey returned to Tirana after warning lights went on in the cockpit. The Albanian Belle Air flight made an emergency landing after pilots were alerted of a technical defect, according to government authorities.

The MD 80 plane of LBY 601 flight to Antalya, Turkey left Mother Teresa Tirana International Airport at 06.40 local time but returned in 33 minutes. The landing was normal and all passengers were taken to the terminal while aeronautical experts checked the plane.

The plane resumed its flight after no defect was found.
