TIRANA, Dec 4 – A group of 20 Albanian immigrants were arrested in neighboring Italy as part of a drug gang. Police found in Luca province 32 kilograms of heroin and other proof.
It is believed that the drugs came from the Netherlands to be distributed in Luca, Pistoia and Massa provinces.
Police said that the head of the organization, also an immigrant, had turned back to Albania from where he led the operation of the gang. He was imprisoned and then deported from Italy a year ago.
