TIRANA, July 20 – Edmond Hysaj, 38, was extradited from Italy to serve his prison sentence of 20 years for a murder.
Hysaj, from southwestern Vlora, was sentenced by the district court there after he stabbed to death with a knife Ethem Caushi. He was arrested in Italy last year.
Taip Katica, 53, from northern Shkodra was extradited to Albania to be taken to court for murder and illegal weapon possession. An international arrest warrant was issued for him after he allegedly shot dead Jetmir Dhampiri while playing snooker. Dhampiri was mixed with another person with whom the Katica brothers were in a bloodfeud brawl.
