Albania’s CPI rises for February

TIRANA, March 8 – Albania’s February consumer prices rose by 0.5 percent compared to January, and were 2.9 percent higher compared to last year. The data was made available by the National Statistics Office (INSTAT). In January, consumer prices also rose by a monthly 0.5 percent and were 2.9 percent higher annually. In February 2006 consumer prices rose by 1.3 percent, compared to last year.
