TIRANA, Nov. 15 – State Police Chief Haki Cako made a five-day visit to Great Britain to meet with senior British law-enforcement officials and strengthen cooperation between the two countries in the fight against organized crime and terrorism, a spokesman said.

Cako also made a visit to the Greater Manchester Police, which covers almost the same number of population as Albania.

There is a considerable Albanian community in the UK, the vast majority of whom are hard working immigrants and good citizens, however, a minority involved in crime have come to the attention of the law-enforcement authorities in both countries.
