TIRANA, June 21- In February Tabaj’s family – including wife Anilda, daughter Maria, 13, and Canadian-born twin sons Kristian and Vincenco, 4 – escaped with their lives from an apparent attempted assassination just outside the Albanian capital city of Tirana.
That family was deported from Etobicoke, Canada last year. Four months following the assassination attempt the family has tentatively been granted permission to return to their adoptive home, more than a year after the family were forcibly flown back to Albania.
The process of bringing the family back to Canada should hopefully take no longer than a month to complete.
