TIRANA, Oct 6ؔirana East Gate has started construction of a modern, family-oriented retail and entertainment centre in Lund첬 Farka County, 5 km southeast of the Albanian capital.
With a leasable area of 39,000 square meters and parking spaces for over 1,600 cars, the new shopping centre will be the largest western-style mall in Albania.
Tirana East Gate is a wholly owned subsidiary of one of the leading real estate companies in Albania, Mane TCI, in turn an affiliate of Balkan Finance Investment Group (Balfin).
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development has awarded a 24-million euro long-term debt facility for this project.
