MIRDITA, April 7 – The work of the U.S.-Turkish Bechtel-Enka consortium building the Rreshen-Kalimash road segment has apparently damaged some houses near their work site.
At least three houses have been damaged in the village of Zallxhuxh, Fan commune in Mirdita district. The consortium has agreed to compensate the owners.
However, at least four other homeowners have complained of suffering damage due to the explosives used during nearby construction.(Tirana Times Staff)
