TIRANA, May 15 – Belgian Foreign Minister Karel De Gucht visited Albania to take part at the regional Crans Montana conference and also to meet with all top local officials.
The regional conference is titled Albania and Southeastern Europe toward the European Union where many representatives from other countries and international institutions will take part.
De Gucht met with Prime Minister Sali Berisha, his host counterpart Lulzim Basha, Economy Minister Genc Ruli and Justice Minister Enkelejd Alibeaj to discuss on bilateral ties focusing on economic cooperation, European and Euro-Atlantic prospect for Albania and the developments in the region.
