TIRANA, Sep. 19 – Prime Minister Sali Berisha met Wednesday with Ali Ahmeti, leader of the Macedonian Democratic Union for Integration Party, to discuss bilateral ties between the two countries and also their joint efforts to become NATO members next year.
They also discussed the role of the Albanian community in Macedonia to preserve the ethnic coexistence in that country.
Ahmeti also met with Parliament Speaker Jozefina Topalli and other senior officials.
