TIRANA, Oct 15 – Argita Malltezi (Berisha), daughter of Prime Minister Sali Berisha, acknowledged that Bosnian businessman Damir Fazlic was her client but she strongly denied that he had profited anything at all from partnership with the premier’s daughter, or anything from the public money.
In a message sent to the media Argita said that Fazlic was part of her legal studio work but her services were not linked at all with the public sector.
She strongly denied and turned down all the accusation from the opposition that Fazlic had profited from her mediation in the government works.
Argita also said she had never been part or member of any counseling board or commission in public institutions or in any link to the Porto Romano energy park that is planned to be built there.
The opposition accused her and the premier of favoring Fazlic orienting him toward buying the land in the Porto Romano area that was destined to become a big investment in the country.
Argita urged everyone having any documentation to prove their accusation to make them public and stop spreading dirty words against her.
