Better coordination needed in fight against crime

TIRANA, May 31 – The Prosecutor General’s Office and the Justice Ministry gathered their personnel to talk on better coordination of their work in the fight against organized crime, terrorism, trans-border crime, different illegal traffic and border management.
The two institutions were clear that without their proper coordination the work and the fight against these crimes cannot give good results.
Prosecutor General Ina Rama and Justice Minister Bujar Nishani said that corruption was another topic where their institutions should focus upon in the daily work.
Both officials said that such topics were of prime importance along the country’s efforts of integration into the European Union, and also now being a member of NATO.
