TIRANA, March 30 – Albanian immigrants will be able to apply for biometric passports in two different cities in Greece: Thessaloniki and Athens. That started to be used in practice this week at the two Greek cities.
The interior ministry announced that the office in Thessaloniki began accepting applications Monday. Immigrants living in Greece can get the same biometric passports as those issued in Albania.
The ministry plans to open similar services in the Italian cities of Rome and Milan.
