Bulgarian Speaker visits Albania, pledges support to NATO membership

TIRANA, Dec. 3 – A Bulgarian parliamentary delegation headed by Parliamentary Speaker Georgi Pirinski paid an official visit to Albania and met with top officials.
The delegation met with Albanian Parliament Speaker Jozefina Topalli, Prime Minister Sali Berisha, Foreign Minister Lulzim Basha and Economy Minister Genc Ruli.
Pirinski said that Sofia would provide strong support at next year’s NATO summit in Bucharest so Tirana receives an invitation to become a full member.
