Customs revenues for 2007 reach 92 billion lek

TIRANA, Jan.15- General Director of Customs, P쳰arim Dervishi, announced that 2007 customs revenues reached 92.932 billion lek. Dervishi said the customs administration has fulfilled its revenue expectations for the third year in a row. For 2007, the actual revenues were 1.645 billion lek more than the revised plan, a 16 percent increase in revenues compared to 2006. Dervishi also described some of the details on the excise tax goods. The volume of fuels gone through customs was 15 percent higher than last year and the volume of coffee was eight percent higher as well.
