TIRANA, Dec 10 – Surgeon Agim Karaj, who was put under house arrest on corruption charges, has fled his house and police cannot find him.
The Appeals Court had decided that the defendant had to return to jail as the prosecutor was continuing his investigation.
Last month Karaj, 58, was charged after being found to have received bribes from patients.
Police issued an arrest warrant for him.
