TIRANA, Nov. 11 – Albanian police said they had extradited to Serbia Afrim Nuredini, 38, an ethnic Albanian from the southern Serbian region of Presevo Valley.
Last year, a Belgrade court had sentenced him to five years imprisonment for producing and trafficking drugs and also for use of false documents.
He was arrested at the Tirana International Airport Mother Teresa last August.
His extradition was made on the second day of the visit from Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama to Serbia, as he was visiting the Presevo area, which is mainly inhabited by ethnic Albanians.
