Durres-Kukes to get 250 million euro more

TIRANA, Nov 17 – The Albanian government has allocated 250 million euro in its next year’s budget only for the Durres-Kukes road segment.
Deputy Finance Minister Sherefedin Shehu told the parliamentary commission on economy said the amount would be used to complete the work for its different segments until mid-2009, which is just in time for the upcoming general elections expected then.
That amount makes up eight percent of the total money to be invested.
Shehu also said that the sale of the strategic companies will b spent well to facilitate the budget.
