Eagle Mobile first operator to cover Valbona

TIRANA, Sep. 28 – Eagle Mobile is the first operator in the country covering Valbona area in the northwestern district of Tropoja with mobile signal, the company said in a statement. Local government and residents of this area have sought to offer this service from mobile operators since 10 years ago. But only after a colossal work during the past ten months, Eagle Mobile has covered the area with signal offering to residents the basic and internet services.
One of the most important areas of mountain tourism, Valbona hosts more than 15 thousand visitors every year from different countries of Europe, Kosovo and Macedonia. A significant number of tourists also come in this area from Tirana and other Albanian cities.
On this occasion a ceremony was held at the Commune of Margegaj, attended by local executives and senior Eagle Mobile managers.
Head of Margegaj Commune, Rexh롂yberaj, said that the habitants of this area have sought signal coverage and mobile services ten years before.
“The Commune Council of Margegaj gives today to Eagle Mobile the Certificate of Gratitude for the valuable contribution in communication connection of this area with the rest of the country and Kosovo,” Byberaj told the media. He added that this area will be further developed thanks to this investment. According to him, mobile communication in this area will be a great help for the people, who will be able to communicate with children and their relatives who work and live abroad.
CEO of Eagle Mobile, Ali Taskin, said that Eagle has diligently worked in order to cover Valbona area with signal in a record time.
“For us, citizens are equal and have right to be provided with the best and the latest services as in Tirana, Korca, Saranda or here to Valbona. We provide the same services for them, with the same high quality. I am happy that we are the first operator to bring this service in this important tourist area that also links north of Albania with Plava and Gucia in Montenegro, as well as with Gjakova in Kosovo”, said Taskin. Eagle, the first operator with continuous signal in Kalimash tunnel
CEO of Eagle Mobile during the event held at the Margegaj Commune, stated also that Eagle Mobile is the first operator that completely covers the new highway of Kosovo.
“It is my pleasure to confirm that the Tirana – Morina highway is completely covered in a record time and that Eagle Mobile is the first operator providing continuous signal in Kalimash tunnel”, he said.
Mr.Taskin confirmed that Eagle Mobile investments in infrastructure and coverage continue without interruption.
