TIRANA, May 25 – Eagle Mobile is trying to clean up the environment in Albania under the company’s One With Nature program.
Some of Eagle’s top managers, officials from the ministries of education and environment as well as more than 200 high school student met in the city of Lezha where they cleaned three different areas of the city, providing a good example for its residents.
Equipped with environmental cleanup tools, students from Hydajet Lezha High School were also helped by Lezha citizens to make their city cleaner.
“We are working to bring a good example to all, for the students and other companies in the market. A few months ago, Eagle Mobile and ȡlik Group with their investments in Albania contributed to minimize the damages of the natural disaster stemming from the floods in the areas of Shkodra and Lezha. We are here today to protect nature from human damage. We would like to make an appeal to Albanian young people, not just the ones in high schools, to protect the environment,” said Ebru Demir, Eagle Mobile Director of Customer Care Division.
The heads of the local directorates of environment and education, Edmond Ndreu and Shpresa Hoxha, expressed their pleasure to be involved in this initiative. They gave thanks to Eagle Mobile and expressed their desire to have this initiative expanded to other areas of Lezha too.
Hoxha said that such initiative has a great impact in the awareness of the citizens about the environment.
The May campaign of Eagle Mobile will also continue in other cities, including Vlora, downtown Tirana, Kamza and Pogradec. Managers of the company will join high school students in the effort.
