TIRANA, Aug. 28 – The critical situation that Albania’s hydro-dependent electricity sector has been facing in the past few months due to prolonged drought, has forced the government to make use of an emergency World Bank loan and revise the 2017 budget to increase support to state run companies for electricity purchases.
