TIRANA, Dec. 14 – Albania has received no date for opening membership talks with the European Union at the year’s most important meeting to discuss the country’s EU accession prospects. Foreign ministers of the EU member countries have agreed with the recommendation made by the European Commission that the opening of accession talks with Albania be made depending on the implementation of the justice reform and particularly the vetting law for judges and prosecutors.
