TIRANA, March 28 – Said Azizi, 65, was extradited from Albania toward Germany. Azizi, a resident of Bujanovc in southern Serbia, close to the Kosovo border, was arrested last November following an international arrest warrant issued in 2003 from German police. Azizi was accused of producing false money. He is accused of falsifying 325,000 euro and had tried to throw them into the market in Munich.
In eastern Diber police arrested a 48 year old man who had been sentenced to seven years imprisonment for an attempted murder in 2009.
It was learnt that residents of his village had also tried to hamper police in his arrest operation.
