An international arrest warrant was issued from that district court since 1998 when he was sentenced to 18 years imprisonment for murder.
He was arrested earlier this month in Gubbio, Perugia, following exchange of information between the Interpol offices.
Gjon Vukaj, 42, was extradited from the Netherlands. In 2003 Vukaj was sentenced to 13 years imprisonment for exploitation of prostitution. He had proposed for marriage to a woman and then he had taken her to Italy where she was exploited as a forced prostitute. She was once turned back to homeland from the Italian police but Vukaj and another person had again taken her back to prostitution, this time at Tirana streets and motels.
Bledar Yzeiri, 33, was extradited from Brussels, Belgium to serve 17 years imprisonment on murder. In 2002 he was sentenced to jail for killing two persons for revenge.
