False currency distribution uncovered in Tirana

TIRANA, July 27 – Police on Wednesday arrested four persons accusing them of distributing fake lek banknotes. Emiljan Edmond Qose, 21, Gazmend Tonin Vulaj, 21, Tom Zef Prozhmi, 22, and Nikoll Ndue Sterkaj, 20, were arrested. They are believed to have put 1,000, 2,000 and 5,000-lek banknotes at the amount of half a million leks and 1,000 dollars in the market. Police are investigating whether they have involved or have cooperated with other persons.
