FIER, Jan. 10 – Farmers of the so8thwestern Cakran and Kashisht villages in the Fier district call for help from the authorities to prevent land erosion that is threatening much of their agricultural land.
The Vjosa River passing nearby is flooding many areas in their commune damaging all they had planted.
Farmers complained that many officials come to their area to monitor the situation but nothing has been done so far.
The river is threatening to flood and make unusable all the land there belonging to eight villages.
