Fieri businessman arrested for killing girl in Greece

TIRANA, Nov. 1 – Police arrested Wednesday Shpetim Shperdhea, 34, a businessman from the city of Fier, who was wanted under an international arrest warrant by the Greek and the Albanian police. Shperdhea has allegedly exploited for prostitution a woman named Nurie Hoxhaj in Greece and then he killed her. The case began in 2004. Shperdheas’s brother Muhamed is at large as well. They had started a business of iron materials and were believed to have had many houses and apartments from Fier to Vlora and Tirana.
