TIRANA, Nov. 6 – A gas leak Monday in one of the Tirana quarters threaented serious the area but firefighters managed to keep it under control. A reatil shop selling gas set alarm and called firefighting service. They were obliged to let all the gas out of the deposits while firefihgters kept water all the time to keep it safe from fire. All the area around was evacuated but no consequence came from the danger. The shop was then closed. In another case two women in the western port city of Durres were injured following the explosion of a gas box.
