Government helps local authorities for legalization process

TIRANA, Aug. 15 – The government added 30 million leks to the local government authorities countrywide in an effort to give a push to the legalization process that has started last month, the vice director of the Agency of Legalization Ferdinand Shehu said Tuesday. The Interior Ministry will distribute the funding according to the needs. Saying 80 percent would be used to payback owners and 20 percent for the administration needs. “We guarantee the local government authorities of the support at each stage for further progress of this big economic reform,” said Shehu.
Until now there have been some 80,000 files created for the legalization process. Now they expect further documentation.
